This page is for people who are running there own mailserver and having problems
with sending emails to our customers. Below we will describe to what rules your
mailserver should comply.
If your not the system operator of the mailserver and your facing mail problems you
should contact the system operator of the mailserver your sending email with.
Mailserver policy:
In the ongoing battle against spam. We have taken some actions
to reduce the amount of spam traveling on our network. To be sure
your email reaches our network you (mailserver) have to comply to
the following rules:
- The connecting IP address must have a PTR record
- IP address should not listed in a DNS blacklist
- Senders domain needs to resolve
- Senders domain needs to have MX records
- 4.x.x status should be a temporary error (we use greylisting)
But don't worry, virtual all mailservers are configured to comply to
the above rules (as stated in the RFC). But if in case your email is
being blocked by our mailservers with one the above errors
you should contact the maintainer of the mailserver.
It also might be a good idea to ask your mailserver administrator
to ask him to setup
SPF
records for you. This will even lower the risk that your email is being blocked.
Delete ip from Digitalus Blacklist:
If your email was rejected by the dnsbl.spam.digitalus.nl DNSBL you can request
your IP being delisted. If you IP was listed in other blacklists you have to
contact the maintainers of these lists. To delist an ip you can fill in this
form.
After you filled in the form correctly it will be automaticly removed within one
hour.
Request mailserver to be whitelisted:
It's possible to request your mailserver being added to our whitelist. Your
mailserver administrator should fill in this
form.
